On the 5th of April, Pottsville United Boss Dean Gillett unveiled the latest in a string of recent signings outside the club house today. 22 year old hungarian Tihamer Kunzce was unveiled with the standard giving of his shirt before both men spoke to the press.
"Well, I was on a recent scouting trip over-seas looking for good young talent, I came across Tihamer and was immediately impressed by his desire, determination and work ethic. I watched a couple of training sessions and saw that he also had the technique to back those other qualities up. So long as he continues to work hard, he could be the extra edge we need to ensure a 5th spot, possibly even a top 4 finish." Said the manager.
"I'm happy to be here, getting to experience a new country and style of football here at Pottsville United. I've been to a training session to see my new team mates and I am excited about playing with them. The manager is one who likes to play the game, entertain the fans, not sacrifice style for results. Its going to be a tough league for me to adapt to, the defenders at the top clubs are great, and overall its a physical competition. But its a challenge and I intend on taking it up and get as many goals as possible for the club." Added Kunzce.

On April 9th, FE Valiance Football Club had announced a monumental signing of Thai Midfielder Jatupol Sukunya. In a mass media spectacle, Sukunya was given the red carpet treatment, as a press confrence was held on the pitch of The Pit.
Team President Bobby Williams made it clear that Valiance was set to win VI.130 again for the second straight year, and that anything less then promotion would be "Unacceptable". During the 45 minute announcment, Williams stated the following, "We have decided to go for a experienced Midfielder who we think will provide us with an excellent chance to win games. We think Jatupol Sakunya is that player, and we are glad we could work out a contract that suited both of our needs."
When asked the question on how much it took to sign the Thai Midfielder, Williams chuckled, "Well, I won't be going on that Eurpoean Vaction anytime within the next 10 years." Sakunya himself spoke through translator during this press announcement, "I'd like to thank FE Valiance for giving me this oppertunity to play. I really enjoy the sunshine and weather of Florida, and I hope to finish my career in a Valiance Kit."
Sakunya has netted 37 Goals in his career, while playing for two teams. He also netted his first two goals for Valiance in a 9-0 International victory over the visiting Austriallian team of Pottsville United.

A shock announcement earlier today was revealed outside the Club House at Seabreeze Oval, that 47 year old coach Jake Sheppard had been sacked from the coaching staff under rather cloudy reasons.
Manager Dean Gillett spoke to us about it shortly after and he had this to say, "Look, myself and the club have discussed this issue over the past week and we have decided that, although we are thankful for Jacks service to the club, some recent events that are centered around him have brought some bad media and upset a few of our veteran playing staff. We wish him (Jake Sheppard) all the best in the next phase of his career."
Rumours have surfaced that Sexual Misconduct with several veteran players wives may have played a part in the sacking of the 47 year old coach.
Obviously this was a calculated move, as not to long after midday, the club unvieled 34 year old Italian Claudio lo Guidice has been appointed as the new assistant coach to Manager Dean Gillett. Little has been said about the Italian, but all that has, is indicating to a brighter future on the training pitch for Pottsville United.

On Monday, the 14th of April, FE Valiance had secured the rights of 17 year old Aroldo Massaro of Italy. The hot young Itallian prospect was flown in on private jet, and was arranged a private training session with Valiance staff. Impressed by the speed and talent, Valiance did not hesitate and offered the young striker a lengthy contract with the club.
"We're proud to welcome Aroldo to the club. His youth and amazing speed will provide added boosts to moral, and perhaps make the veterans step up their form." Coach Jaap Gouwerok said during a brief press announcement. There have been talks abroad that the signing of another Striker was foolish, as Valiance is already well stocked with 20 year olds Montenegro and Rodriguez. And 18 year olds Stanley Buchanan and Mitchel Hilhorst. Comprised with veteran Juan Braden, Valiance fans were hoping to see a move benefit the aging defensive back line.
Aroldo's first match didn't go as expected, as he didn't even record a shot on goal, and picked up a yellow card in the 32nd minute of Valiance's 5-1 International Friendly over visiting FC Hatos.

On 18th of April, early on friday morning, Pottsville United Manager Dean Gillet and his FE Valiance opposite Bobby Williams were live in the studio (Live feed from Florida, in FE Valiance Managers case) to announce that an agreement between the two clubs had been reached in regards to Coaching philosophy and Youth Development.
So, firstly to Mr Gillett, what can you tell the Pottsville faithful about FE Valiance and their manager in particular?
So, firstly to Mr Gillett, what can you tell the Pottsville faithful about FE Valiance and their manager in particular?
Dean: "Well, me and Bobby go back a long way, before the club went bust and was called Pottsville Mulletts. He's a great lad whom I took on as my pupil if you like in his early managing days and from there a friendship grew. We both share the same philosophies to many aspects of the game, and as some of the Pottsville Faithful might remember, we played FE Valiance several times in the past."
Mr. Williams, how does your recent success of FE Valiance reflect on your relationship with Mr. Gillett?
Bobby: "Do you speak of our "Success" of winning Division VI.130 then getting our *bleep* asses handed to us in the promotion game? I think it's quite clear how this "success" reflects on our relationship. We are both very passionate about winning. We love our jobs, and when we do our jobs to our best abilities, and we can't provide wins for our fans, we tend to get a little...how you say, angry."
Mr Gillett, what does this relationship between the two clubs mean for the future of Pottsville United?
Dean: "Simply put, its a brighter future. Finacially and personnel wise Pottsville isn't near where it used to be, nor what I want it to be, to be able to provide winning results on a regular basis for our fans. The current agreement states that; both clubs have first choice of promotees from the respective Youth Academies which means due to our different coaching preferences we can send any potential strikers to FE Valiance, and them send us potential midfielders. Secondly, both Clubs will share Youth Academy Philosophies and there will be two training camps where both Academies players will get to meet, make friends etc. Also, there is a future youth league centered around the two clubs to be initiated in the near future."
Pottsville United Manager Dean Gillett had been spotted on flights to and from the US in the past three weeks outside of the friendly between the two clubs. However, news of this agreement was played down to the point no one even expected it.
Mr. Williams, in the past, you stated that FE Valiance would eventually break out of the current economic stagnation the club is currently in. This venture certainly is very cost worthy, and with your recent signings, how can the club afford such a risky venture?
Bobby: "It's true, our economic state is very fragile. But I was brought into Valiance to provide wins and silverware. I have succeded with that by winning VI.130 last season. Our current goal, is to win our division again and to be promoted. If we can accomplish that, our fan base will grow, and the revenue for winning for a second straight year will more then compansate for our international investment."
Mr Gillett and Mr Williams, on behalf of the Pottsville Public, I would like to thank you both for your time and wish you and your respective clubs well in the future.
Dean - "Thanks, it was a pleasure."
Bobby: "Anytime. I love the Austriallian fans."
There you have it folks, a brighter future is ahead for Pottsville United and FE Valiance and the two old friends who manage their affairs. Stay tuned for more.

Manager Dean Gillett earlier today announced the signing of 21 year old Israeli midfielder Gilad Ben Ari from Wax Boys. It was hinted that he would be the last international player signed by the club, as they look to focus on building on local talent and the club indicated this by saying "Expect changes to our foreign policy. Our new system will be limiting the 1st team to only having 3 players in the match squad, while 5 players in the overall squad." in the local Gazette yesterday.
Fans are unsure of the clubs immediate future as fears alay that many of these players who have become quite the favorites with them could be leaving the club in order to push through for more room in the squad for local talent. Manager Dean Gillett replied to these fears by saying, "Fans need not worry. This is something that is not happening overnight. It will be a process that will carry on no doubt into next season. The coaching staff and myself are assessing the current squad and those players who haven't impressed from the foreign contingent will be sold. But local boys who haven't done the job can be expected to be on the transfer list as well."
